“Hi son.” It’s a voice he hasn’t expected to hear, since Dad is supposed to be in a coma in a hospital somewhere, but given all that he’s seen it really doesn’t surprise him. SHIELD has connections, after all, so he knows about the other agency of black suits.
“Mom’s going to be mad, you know.” Phil smiles just a little. It’s good to hear his father’s voice after thirty five years.
The man on the other end just laughs.

Now believe it or not, but it looks like THE AVENGERS has already been given a home video release date (HELLS YES!). It’s still very early, but it looks like THE AVENGERS will be arriving on DVD, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D early in the fall on September 25. We have a look at what could potentially be the cover art and a look at what special features will be included with the release. Word is that a 10-disc set will also be released with THE AVENGERS that will include all of the films leading up to the film (Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Thor and Captain America), but no official word on that yet.
