“I had a lot of hair, I had my Italian afro and I was really skinny. After that though I recognize myself. In a lot of ways, creatively I’m the same creature. I pursue my work with the same intensity and joy. I get the same joy out of it, if not more.”

“We’re here tonight to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights. Article One, which states that all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in the Declaration without distinction of any kind. Governments are supposed to protect these rights for all of their citizens. There can be no peace without justice. Where there is apartheid, systematic or economic, there is no justice. And where there is no justice there is only war.” - Bruce Springsteen: Human Rights Now 1988

It’s the same thing night on night
Who’s wrong baby who’s right
Another fight and I slam the door on
Another battle in our dirty little war
When I look at myself I don’t see
The man I wanted to be
Somewhere along the line I slipped off track
I’m caught movin’ one step up and two steps back
Basically, me and myself tonight.

ABOUT
ON THIS THUNDER ROAD
Who I am? I wish I knew. I guess I'm a messed-up girl who's trying to "get to that place where we really want to go", as the famous Springsteen anthem says. I spend most of my life on the road, following Bruce in tour around the world or attending cinema conventions like the Venice International Film Festival. I have three amazing passions, indeed: Bruce Springsteen music, movies and books (as good George would say: what else?), and everytime one of them calls, I'm ready to answer 'yes', without any hesitation. I love Martin Scorsese's and Tim Burton's works, along with Pixar ones, and right now I'm literally crazy for Robert Downey Jr., probably one of the best actor EVER. I've also a dream, to become a movie director, and right now I'm studying in Rome in order to make it real someday. 'Cause baby, remember: it's my life, and I'll do what I want.
